Glow vs Setmore: cheap calendar versus the record
Setmore is a fine shared calendar at a low price. It does not know what an allergy alert test is. If all you needed was a slot picker, you would not be reading this.
Side by side
| Glow | Setmore | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | £19 everything included | Free tier, then paid plans |
| Built for | UK treatment businesses | Any appointment business |
| Patch / skin test rules | Enforced at booking | Not a product feature |
| Consent + aftercare | Signed before they sit; sent when you finish | Add-ons or workarounds |
| Batches | On the appointment | Not the job |
| UK migration | We do it | CSV |
The real difference
Setmore wins on 'I just need people to pick a time'. Teams that have outgrown that usually have a WhatsApp thread for patch tests and a paper form for consent. That is the expensive version of free software.
Glow costs £19 because the product is the file around the slot, not the slot. If you are a tutor or a consultant, Setmore may be enough. If you put colour, adhesive or ink on skin, it is not.
